Casa Recoleto ha anunciado la apertura de la exposición «Sombra de Agua,» una muestra innovadora y evocadora que reúne las obras de los destacados artistas Adamo Callone y Luca Benzi. La exposición estará abierta al público desde el 13 de septiembre hasta el 23 de noviembre de 2024.
Dos visiones artísticas que convergen en el contraste
«Sombra de Agua» es el resultado de una colaboración entre Callone y Benzi, quienes, a través de sus obras, exploran la relación entre la naturaleza y la percepción humana. Aunque sus visiones difieren en cromatismo, temperaturas, acabados y superficies, logran coexistir mediante el contraste. Son las dos caras de la luna: una incandescente y luminosa, la otra oculta en las sombras.
Este binomio entre luz y sombra encuentra varios puntos de contacto, nacidos de la articulación de los cinco elementos: Agua, Aire, Espacio, Fuego y Tierra. A pesar de sus diferencias, las propuestas artísticas no hacen sino exaltar mutuamente sus cualidades.
La influencia del agua y la tierra en el arte contemporáneo
El tema central de la exposición gira en torno al agua, no solo como elemento físico, sino como metáfora de las emociones humanas. Las obras presentadas abordan el agua como un espejo de nuestra psique, reflejando los sentimientos más profundos. A su vez, la tierra, en sus diversas formas y texturas, también juega un papel crucial en las obras, desde los blancos mate y colores típicos de las tierras locales de la costa mediterránea hasta los negros ahumados de las profundidades de América Latina.
Estas cerámicas, creadas a partir de arcillas cocidas tanto a altas temperaturas como en atmósferas de cocción rudimentaria, unen mares, historias y épocas, con la impronta característica de la naturaleza en cada textura.
Una fusión artística que trasciende fronteras
Las piezas, que combinan elementos de escultura, pintura e instalación, crean un diálogo constante entre la materia y la luz. Los artistas, originarios de tierras distantes pero ahora residentes en estas latitudes, eligen vivir y trabajar aquí, contribuyendo con su valiosa visión y belleza. To highlight two visions that, although they differ in chromaticism, temperatures, finishes and surfaces, manage to coexist through contrast.
They are the two faces of the moon. One incandescent and bright, the other hidden in the shadows.
This binomial between light and shadow finds several points of contact. Both born from the articulation of the 5 elements: Water, Air, Space, Fire and Earth.
The proposals coexist because their differences do nothing but exalt one another.
Two ceramists with particular searches that range from the matte whites and typical colors of the local lands of this coast of the Mediterranean, to the black and smoky colors of the depths of distant Latin America. Bringing to the present the union of seas, stories and times from clays fired at high temperatures and those fired in a rudimentary way in their low firing atmospheres. Coexisting in both, the imprint left by textures so typical of Nature.
The envelopes of the exhibition space are filled with visual expressions from these exquisite proposals by these two ceramists who inhabit these lands but whose origins come from the new and distant continent. They choose to live and work in these latitudes to delight us with their valuable contribution and beauty.
